The film uses time to play out cause and effect, so for the main booklet, we decided to create a dual aspect, double bound book that opens from both sides (two sides to every story). The booklet feels nostalgic and stylistically nods to photo albums and 1950’s police force ephemera. The booklet houses French folds, exposing the hidden secrets of the film and messages exchange across folds.
We treated the hidden insert as a guide to Brighton. It had to instantly feel very different and fun through a collection of made up in-world holiday postcards and illustrations I commissioned.
